I actually wrote a moderately substantial (but obviously not consubstantial) post yesterday on suffering, Mother Teresa, and a few other things. Since I spent quite a bit of time on that, I’m taking a lazy 7QT this week with PHOTOS. Also… I’m still a week or two behind on photos, so enjoy visualizing things I wrote about mostly in this post about camping and fair-ing.
Editor’s note: captions are double-typed, both into the caption box and the body of the text, because I’m not quite sure how screen readers take my blog and I am ALL about being screen-reader-friendly! Hi, Steph. 😉
A very cute photo of my beautiful mother helping her adorable grandson (my godson!) use a big sand digger. Having also helped, I can tell you it’s harder than it looks.
A photo in which baby niece MG is blowing a spit bubble at me. And managing to make it look adorable!
Remember that one time I said I went camping in the woods? This photo was taken directly above my head. Yes, we were in a forest, see all the trees?
A photo of my beautiful sister having a heart-to-heart staredown with a llama at the NY State Fair.
A photo in which I am bright-eyed with excitement by the existence of a maple-syrup lollipop (on the left, in the shape of a maple leaf) and maple-syrup-infused soft serve ice cream (on the right, with two spoons, for sharing purposes.)
LOOK AT THE GIGANTIC FLUFFY BUNNY. That is all.
A random photo of the tie-dye chickens we saw at the State Fair. I have no way of knowing HOW they turn tie dye. THEY JUST DO. *ominous voice*
A massive sand sculpture incorporating the NY State Fair and the Olympics, which I thought was fairly impressive. Mainly because I struggle to just -walk- in stand, let alone -sculpt- it.
So there ya go! Stop by again next time, when maybe I’ll use my words. 🙂
