Five thoughts to start your morning off right!

Caveat: I make no promises that your morning will start off right. If you’re like me, the morning started hours ago. On the upside, perhaps it could now improve!

Also, if you’re not drinking coffee, I make no promises that any of this will make sense to you. How DO you people do it? What’s your secret?

Hold please, while I take a sip. Or two. Mmmm, java.

Thought One:

I want only one thing: to begin to sing now what I will sing for all eternity — the mercies of the Lord. –St. Therese of Lisieux (a.k.a. St. Therese of the Child Jesus)

Start the day off right: thank Him.

Thought Two:

Rejoice,… because you are blessed and because of the bountiful hand of God’s grace upon you. –St. Bruno

Revel in the grace this morning!

Thought Three:

The time we spend in having our daily audience with God is the most precious part of the whole day. –Blessed (Mother) Teresa of Calcutta

Give Him a moment of your time today.

Thought Four:

Let us throw ourselves into the ocean of his goodness, where every failing will be canceled and anxiety turned into love. –St. Paul of the Cross

Fret not; be not anxious – for He is good.

Thought Five:

Have no fear of moving into the unknown. Simply step out fearlessly knowing that God is with you, therefore no harm can befall you; all is very, very well. Do this in complete faith and confidence. — Blessed John Paul II

That one thing that could throw you entirely off your game today? Proudly confront it, move forward, and be not afraid.

Carry on, my friends. Carry on.
